Carla Bruni revealed this shocking news through an Instagram post.
October is known as the Breast Cancer Awareness Month. On this occasion, the former French first lady and singer Carla Bruni shared a three-slide Instagram post revealing that she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer 4 years ago. The first slide consists of a video of herself with placards explaining her Breast Cancer in French. The second and the third slide consists of notes in English and French.

However, she was fortunate that her cancer wasn’t aggressive, but she mentioned the reason for revealing this news.
“I’m not writing this post to give you the details of my health. That’s repugnant to me and I hesitated for a long time before talking about this. No, the reason I’m posting this today is to deliver a message.”
The message was, “Do your mammograms every year.”
She added, “Do your mammograms. Your lives depend on it.”
Carla Bruni is married to former French President Nicolas Sarkozy, who was the president from 2007 to 2012. The couple tied the knot in 2008. They have a daughter Giulia, who will turn 12 later this month.
