Get ready to celebrate, because National Lavender Day is tomorrow!
National Lavender Day (July 9) is tomorrow!
There’s no better way to celebrate than spending the day in the middle of Ontario’s newest lavender field- Avalon Lavender Farm! This picturesque field is surrounded by beauty and relaxation. It’s also home to a must-have photo opp.
About Avalon Lavender Farm
Avalon Lavender Farm recently opened its doors to the public earlier last month. The family-run brand is thrilled to welcome guests into their oasis, which features a ton of family-friendly opportunities and experiences to enjoy everything the farm has to offer. Located in the heart of Mono, Ontario, Avalon offers a country escape just outside the city.
This is a first-generation lavender farm created to help you and your loved ones connect with nature.
Things to do
There are an abundance of fun activities for guests to take part in during their visit to Avalon Lavender Farm. Attendees have the opportunity to experience picnics surrounded by lavender, participate in Celtic-Stone circle yoga, meet farm animals (including Lavender Orpington hens!) during families visits, purchase Avalon hand-made lavender products, and so much more!
Avalon is also home to a beautiful, winding, River Walk, which peeks at the Nottawasaga River’s North Branch. This walk is a fan-favourite amongst everyone, from photographers, to kids, to pets. As a result, it’s included in the field admission at Avalon.
Celebrating National Lavender Day
Torontonians will be able to bring a piece of Avalon home with them this National Lavender Day with Avalon’s cut-your-own-lavender offering! This is the ideal way to celebrate National Lavender Day.
Avalon is home to over 30,000 lavender plants and seven cultivators (five English lavender and two French lavender) that are in their peak-purple state- making it hthe perfect opportunity for gorgeous photo opps!
As a result, this beautiful purple oasis was all planted, pruned, and harvested by the owners of Avalon with the help of their close family, friends, and fellow community members.
