Police body cam footage that has been going viral online demonstrates how Formella was seen crying and hyper-ventilating in the backseat of a patrol car recently.

Formella allegedly began a sexual relationship with her 15-year-old student back in 2023. This Instagram post claims that the incident reportedly occurred in a classroom during a tutoring session. Formella, who also coached the boy’s soccer team, was arrested on March 16, 2025. As the TMZ article goes on to explain, she’s been placed on administrative leave.

The student’s mother supposedly found the incriminating text messages on his phone and reported them to the cops. A criminal investigation was then launched, and prosecutors have since charged Formella with aggravated criminal sexual abuse and criminal sexual assault. As the Instagram post mentioned above claims, her next court date is scheduled for April 14, 2025TikToker @hiemilynoelle discussed the news here in a post on the platform, seemingly referencing the alleged explicit text messages in question.

However, these texts have stirred speculation, with many people taking to the TikTok video comment section to allege that these texts don’t sound “real.”
