Today is Coronation Day and people have many questions about the event. One popular question is: Was Prince Harry at the coronation? HOLR breaks it down.

And the answer is… yes! Prince Harry attended the big event, together with the Royal family. And as CNN notes, this was the first time he has joined the Royal Family in a public appearance since he published Spare.

Prince Harry attended King Charles’s coronation and during the ceremony he sat next to Prince Andrew, two rows behind Prince William. Even though he was at Westminster Abbey during his father’s coronation, his wife, Meghan, and their children did not join him. She stayed in Los Angeles, where they celebrated Prince Archie’s fourth birthday. HOLR breaks it down, here.

According to this source, Harry did not receive an invitation to join the family on the balcony, thus it is believed he has left to the airport as soon as the ceremony ended. Prince Andrew and Harry were not part of the group who performed ceremonial duties and none of them was seen on the balcony, CNN adds.

Prince Harry and Prince Andrew did not join the Royal Family on the balcony as they are no longer working royals, PageSix mentions. Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, gave up on their royal duties in 2020.

“[Prince Harry] is coming for this major event of his father’s coronation but it’s not going to be a family reunion. We’re not going to see lots of big family meet-ups. Certainly, there has been damage done,” a royal historian said about Prince Harry being at the coronation.
