Donatella Versace is reminiscing on her longtime friendship with Britney Spears on the latest episode of Emily Ratajkowski’s High/Low with EmRata podcast.

Fashion icon Donatella Versace is touching on her longtime friendship with Britney Spears and her experience working with the star on her recent wedding looks on the latest podcast episode of High Low with EmRata.

As mentioned in this article, during the episode, Versace went into detail about her experience with the pop star to date and how “amazing” it was designing Spears’ looks for her recent wedding to Sam Asghari. In addition to her Versace wedding gown, Spears also donned three more Versace reception looks during her 2022 nuptials, as mentioned here.

“It was amazing to see Britney, so liberated, so free,” said Versace. When describing how they met, Versace said, “I think the first designer … she met in her life was me. She came to Milano, she was like 20 or 21 … she was at the height of her career, but she was so humble.”

It’s great to see that these two have maintained such an amazing friendship over the past few years. Donatella was also pictured at Spears’ wedding, along with other celebs such as Selena Gomez, Paris Hilton, and Drew Barrymore.
