Drake Talks About A Possible Retirement In Near Future

Is Toronto’s very own, Drake, preparing the world for retirement from the Hiphop scene?

Drake was invited to be the first guest on Lil Yachty’s Youtube series, FUTUREMOOD. In the episode, the two rappers go into detail about misconceptions, Drake’s rise to fame and a possible ‘graceful exit’ from the spotlight.

“I think I’m at the point now where I just want to like… I feel like, maybe we talked about this the other day….” He starts, “But I feel like I’m kind of introducing the concept in my mind of a graceful exit.”

“What’s left for me is just to find a way to gracefully continue making projects that are extremely interesting and cherished by people.” He says, claiming he’s not ready for retirement now.

“I’ll still be around to work with people and do a show here and there, but I’m not going to force myself to compete. I would love to just see what the next generation does whenever that time is.”

Drakes Accomplishments
