With the P Diddy federal case gaining widespread attention, another rumor is circulating online again. The rumor involved Diddy and Reginald Veljohnson. Dancing With The Stars Reginald Veljohnson is trending for an unsubstantiated rumor that first surfaced in April 2024. The rumor was brought up by Comedian Luce Cannon, where he claimed that Diddy and Reginald Veljohnson had a relationship in the past. Luce claimed that he walked in on Diddy and Reginald when he was a star on the show Family Matters. Reginald played Carl Winslow on the popular sitcom.

This Diddy Reginald rumor appears to be another example of why you shouldn’t believe everything you read online. No one else ever backed up Luce’s claim and it is unclear if he was just saying it to get into the spotlight. Reginald has never commented on it himself. Diddy and Reginald have an almost 20 year age gap. Diddy is 54 years old while Reginald is 72 years old.

The rumor first gain traction in the spring because someone shared a false image of an interview on Twitter. The image was a still from an ET interview that had closed captioning that made it seem like Reginald was commenting on his relations with Diddy. However, X community notes clarified that the interview still was fabricated.

Reginald is currently starring on the latest season of Dancing with the Stars.
