Elite

Although five significant cast members- Ester Expósito (Carla), Danna Paola (Lu), Álvaro Rico (Polo), Mina El Hammani (Nadia), and Jorge López (Valerio)- have officially left the show, four new characters have been introduced in the upcoming season.

The new cast, Manu Rios, Carla Díaz, Martina Cariddi, and Pol Granch are sporting identities of the rich of the richest, along with royalty- coming to Las Encinas with the goal to challenge the present state of affairs and add fuel to the fire of this Spanish Netflix Original.

The new season brings new faces, more money, and greater trouble while operating on their persistent fiery themes of showdowns, love triangles, threesomes, and mystery. The season begins with the introduction of the school’s new director, Benjamín (Diego Martín), and his three children, who fill in the traits for the departed members of the show. Perhaps, maybe more.

Benjamín targets the scholarship students, Samuel and Omar, complementing a major motif of the show of elitism and classism. Samuel and Guzmán’s budding friendship will be in jeopardy due to their common interest in Ari, Benjamín’s oldest daughter. Also, causing roadblocks in Guzmán and Nadia’s relationship. While Elite has proactively engaged in positively showcasing gay relationships, they decided to develop a similar storyline being promoted by Rebeka, who aims to explore her bisexual gender identity with Benjamín’s youngest daughter, Mencía. Furthermore, Benjamín’s son, Patrick, will find his way between the beloved couple “Omander ” (Omar and Ander). However, it’s not being portrayed in a coveted love triangle manner, but an open-relationship. Lastly, the fourth student entering the school is Prince Phillippe von Triesenberg, the true definition of old money. The writers instigate his relationship with the previously scheming character Cayetana, who transforms into a cleaning lady- archetypal of the prince falling for the poor girl.

Elite’s new season has a lot more sizzling passion, deceit, lies, and mysteries to offer, so stay tuned and watch their exclusive trailer.
