Filming for Season 3 of Euphoria has been revealed. The 2019 HBO drama series centres on the drug addict Rue Bennett and her pals as they navigate the challenges of high school life. Zendaya, a two-time Emmy winner, plays Rue Bennett.

Since season 2 of Euphoria concluded in February 2022, there have been hints that season 3 won’t begin production for some time due to Sam Levinson, the show’s creator, writer, and director, being preoccupied with The Idol, another HBO programme.

The start of filming for Euphoria season 3 has now been revealed, and it is considerably sooner than anticipated. When asked when Euphoria season 3 begins production, the show’s costume designer, Heidi Bivens, indicated it will happen in June during a recent interview on The Run-Through with Vogue.

She expressed her excitement over reading the scripts adding, “I’m really excited to read the scripts. “There is talk of it being approximately five years in the future, and that they’re not in high school anymore. Dorothy’s not in Kansas anymore.”

“I mean, it might be a total trip,” she continued. Who can say? But knowing Sam [Levinson, show creator]’s brain, it’s gonna be exciting, and he will challenge all of us, because he won’t want to repeat himself. It’ll be something new for the audience to discover.”

Euphoria Season 3: What to Expect

The second season of Euphoria ends on several cliffhangers, including the shootings of Fez and Ashtray, Cal’s imprisonment, and the consequences of Lexi’s play. As Rue’s narration at the end of the season 2 finale suggested, the following season is anticipated to have a time jump rather than picking up immediately after these events and Bivens confirmed it.
