The teaser trailer of the much-awaited Ferrari starring Adam Driver is out now.

It’s fair to say that Ferrari is probably the most anticipated film in 2023. Earlier today, NEON Films released the first teaser trailer starring Adam Driver, who plays the ex-racer Enzo Ferrari. It also stars Penélope Cruz, Shailene Woodley, Sarah Gordon, Gabriel Leone, Jack O’Connell, and Patrick Dempsey. Directed by Michael Mann and written by Troy Kennedy Martin. It was Michael Mann’s first film in eight years, his last was Blackhat in 2015.

Plot

The movie is based on Brock Yates’ book Enzo Ferrari: The Man, The Cars, The Races, The Machine. The plot is set in 1957 when Ferrari is dealing with a crisis. Be it his company went into bankruptcy, which he and his wife Laura built ten years earlier. Furthermore, the passing away of his son Dino in between of a turbulent marriage.

The teaser features him riding across Italy, moments of love and hate with his wife Laura, grieving his son and a glimpse of his relationship with his mistress Lina Lardi, played by Shailene Woodley.

Release

Ferrari will hit the theatres on Christmas Day, 25 December, 2023. It will also premiere at the 2023 Venice Film Festival. Watch the trailer here.
