Hailey Bieber Speaks Out On Her ‘Feud’ With Selena Gomez

Hailey Bieber addresses what fans are calling a ‘feud’ between her and Selena Gomez calling it ‘dangerous’, ‘vile’ and ‘completely made up’

This supposed ‘feud’ between Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez has been going on since Justin began dating Hailey Bieber just two weeks after breaking off his relationship with Selena Gomez who was his girlfriend, on-and-off, for around five years. This ‘feud‘ was reignited with vigor earlier this year when fans believed Hailey body-shamed Selena in a TikTok with Justine Skye and Kendall Jenner; with her sister Kylie Jenner later joining her shading Selena on Instagram.

Hailey has decided to speak out yet again; attempting to douse the flames brought on by Selena’s fans. In an interview with Bloomberg Originals’: ‘The Circuit with Emily Chang’ Hailey said “I don’t think this is about me – this pitting between two women and division between two women. It’s about the vile, disgusting hatred that can come from completely made-up and twisted and perpetuated narratives. That can be really dangerous.”

Hailey believes this ‘feud’ is a result of an old misogynistic narrative where two women are “being pitted against each other because of a man”. While Selena has, for the most part, remained tight lipped Hailey says this is “an opportunity to really stand for bringing people together and not being okay with the kind of division that it caused”.
