Inside Out 2, the teaser trailer introduces a brand new emotion.

On Thursday, Pixar drops the teaser trailer of Inside Out 2. It’s the sequel to the 2015 movie Inside Out. The voice cast is Joy (Amy Poehler), Sadness (Phyllis Smith), Disgust (Liza Lapira), Fear (Tony Hale) and Anger (Lewis Black). In addition, we see a new emotion, Anxiety, voiced by Maya Hawke.

Amy Poehler and Phyllis Smith return as Joy and Sadness, along with Lewis Black as Anger. Liza Lapira replaces Mindy Kaling, and Tony Hale replaces Bill Hader.

In the teaser trailer, we see Riley turning 13. As a result, a sudden demolition happens in her mind to make room for a new emotion, Anxiety, (Hawke).The teaser ends when Anxiety says, “I’m sorry, we wanted to make such a good first impression!” Then Disgust (Lapira) replies, “What do you mean we?”

“Inside Out 2” is directed by Kelsey Mann.Produced by Mark Nielsen and written by Meg LeFaure.The first movie, Inside Out (2015), won the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay at the 88th Academy Awards. It also won the Best Animated Feature Film at the 73rd Golden Globe Awards.

“Inside Out 2” will hit the theatres in June 2024. Watch the trailer below.
