People online are alleging that Ryan Reynold’s character, Nicepool, from Deadpool & Wolverine, is allegedly referencing Justin Baldoni- who is caught up in recent drama with Reynold’s wife, Blake Lively.

January 7, 2025– According to people online, there is a rumor floating around that Nicepool allegedly references Baldoni, following the bombshell legal battle claims from Blake Lively.
Lively and Baldoni starred in “It Ends With Us” together back in 2024 and Reynolds is married to Lively. Deadpool & Wolverine came out on July 25, 2024, while It Ends With Us debuted on August 9, 2024, just a few weeks later.

Now, there is an allegation making waves online that Nicepool- from Reynold’s movie Deadpool & Wolverine is allegedly supposed to be referencing Baldoni. Although there is no concrete evidence to support this claim, people are comparing this clip from the movie (on TikTok @che_geo) featuring Nicepool to Baldoni.
In the viral clip, Nicepool alleges that he hopes to “host a podcast that monetizes the women’s movement.” Baldoni has a podcast in real life called The Man Enough Podcast. He was also previously awarded a Women’s Solidarity Honour. However, following the sexual harassment accusations from Lively, it has reportedly since been rescinded.
People online are also spotting comparisons between Nicepool and Baldoni’s hair. Nicepool rocks a man bun in the film, in which some people online are alleging that this hairstyle is also trolling Baldoni, who has been seen sporting a man bun from time to time.

For instance, there is also a reference to Ladypool having had a baby but you “can’t even tell.” This is allegedly in reference to claims that Baldoni supposedly “fat-shamed” Lively’s body as claimed in the accusations. Nicepool also alleges that he is a “feminist” which people allege is also a supposed dig at Baldoni.

References to an intimacy coordinator in Deadpool & Wolverine have also stirred rumors about it allegedly being in reference to the drama surrounding having intimacy coordinators on the set of “It Ends With Us.” This is because there were alleged claims from Lively that Baldoni improvised physical intimacy in the film they starred in together.
Again- there is no evidence to support claims that Nicepool is allegedly a reference to Baldoni. However, fan theories are running rampant online following the bombshell legal battle involving Lively and Baldoni.
