New photos from the set of the film “It Ends With Us” (based on a novel by Colleen Hoover) have emerged and fans are reacting to Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni in character.
This TikTok video from user @simplysimone discusses why fans are concerned with the new photos.

Fans are reportedly not happy with the casting of the characters and their subsequent wardrobe, according to the above TikTok. Users chimed in on the comment section to discuss why Justin as Ryle Kincaid and Blake as Lily Bloom are controversial. Many wanted the actress playing Lily to be Abigail Cowen (Fate: The Winx Saga) or Sadie Sink (Stranger Things), who are both younger in age and seem to reflect the character of Lily more accurately.
In relation to Blake’s character Lily, commenters stated their thoughts in the TikTok video’s comments:
“Blake should’ve been cast for Verity,” stated one user. “Verity” is another novel by author Colleen Hoover.
“[I’ve] imagined [Lily] wearing jeans and tees, with [Converse] or boot type, down to earth and simple, WHAT IS THIS,” said another.
“This does NOTTTT look like my [Lily],” said another user.
It’s clear fans are weighing in on the controversial casting for the film but Blake has been known to bring her characters to life in a unique way so we’ll have to wait and see how the film turns out.
