Blake Lively reveals she wouldn’t be going to the 2023 Met Gala on Thursday at the grand re-opening of the Tiffany & Co. Fifth Avenue store in New York City.
When questioned on the red carpet about whether fans will see Lively at the yearly largest night in fashion, the 35-year-old actress responded, “You will not. But I’ll be keeping an eye out.”
Lively donned a leather brown belted midi dress with a plunging neckline and strappy matched heels to the event on Thursday. She accessorized her ensemble with massive gold jewelry and abundant curls in her hair, which she wore loose.
Lively has been a regular at the Met Gala since 2008, often appearing alongside her husband, Ryan Reynolds, whom she has been married to since 2012. In fact, it was their first red-carpet appearance as a couple in 2014.
At the event, where they both served as co-chairs with Oscar winner Regina King and Broadway superstar Lin-Manuel Miranda, Lively looked absolutely elegant as she posed with Reynolds.
Lively made her first red carpet-appearance after the birth of her fourth child with Reynolds earlier this week. Additionally, the two are parents to James, 8, Betty, 3, and Inez.
Blake appreciated her glam team in her Instagram Story on Tuesday for helping her return to the red carpet at the Barnard College Annual Gala in New York City the day before.
The actress wore an off-the-shoulder tea-length Carolina Herrera flowery dress together with a matching neon-pink and yellow Sergio Hudson coat and Manolo Blahnik pink heels for the occasion.
