What happened Jamie Foxx?
After being hospitalised in April for an undisclosed medical condition, Jamie Foxx told fans he’s feeling like himself again.
The 55-year-old actor had some ups and downs with his health in recent years but took to Instagram to let his fans know he was doing better.
“You’re lookin at a man who is thankful… finally startin to feel like myself… it’s been an unexpected dark journey… but I can see the light.”

Also, the actor showed his love to the fans for their support and helping him through the tough times.
“U just don’t know how much it meant… I will be thanking all of you personally… and if you didn’t know… GOD IS GOOD… all day every day” he added.
While keeping quiet on the details about the exact nature of his condition, Foxx put rumours of paralysis and going blind to rest.
However, in July via video message, Foxx shared why he didn’t share any updates at that time.
Foxx said, “I went through something that I thought I would never ever go through.”
Additionally, he acknowledged that people wanted updates but told them he didn’t want them to see him that way.

What did Foxx say about his illness?
As for his illness, he told followers on Instagram that the road to recovery wasn’t without bumps but that he’d be back and ready to work.
Foxx also credited his sister, Deidra Dixon, and his daughter, Corinne, for saving his life.
“Every once in a while, I just burst into tears … because it’s been tough, man, I was sick … but now I’ve got my legs under me so you’re going to see me.”
Foxx added, “I cannot tell you how great it feels to have your family kick in in such a way and you know, they kept it airtight, they didn’t let nothing out. They protected me.”
In a sweet moment, the actor expressed hope that others would be as lucky saying that he hoped everyone could have what he did in that moment.
However, it wasn’t just fans who expressed their support and relief for the actor but so did many other celebrities.
Jeremy Renner – who had his own health battle this year wrote, “Bless you, my friend!!!”
Even Beyonce’s own mother had reached out to the actor in the wake of the news.
She wrote, “I along with the world pray for you regularly you are such a special man such a gift to the world of entertainment. God bless you love, mama Tina.”
We hope Jamie’s recovery continues to go well from here on out.
