According to RadarOnline, Jamie Foxx had to be revived after suffering a health complication on the Back in Action movie set. A source confirmed the information and added that the actor is “lucky to be alive”. “Jamie suffered a serious medical episode and needed immediate attention. It was touch and go for days with him, and he had to be revived — he is very lucky to be alive!” the insider stated. “He’s very lucky he got the treatment he did,” another source mentioned.

According to the same sources, the actor suffers from high blood pressure which put his life in danger. “Jamie suffers from high blood pressure, which doctors say can cause clots in the brain leading to a stroke. Doctors believe this was a long time coming, and really, if they hadn’t acted fast, Jamie might well have been a goner.” they added.

Jamie Foxx’s daughter, Corinne Foxx, opened up about his father’s medical condition last week via Instagram. “We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time.” Corinne wrote in the statement, as HOLR notes here.

The actor remained hospitalized for one week, although sources announced his condition had improved.
