According to this TikTok video posted by user @devotedly.yours, Derulo went to social media to address some recent claims.

In the video, the TikToker explains that Gibson filed a lawsuit alleging that when Derulo signed her on for. a record deal back in 2021, the only way he would advance her career would be if she slept with him. The TikToker explains that this is a huge allegation and Derul responded quite quickly to the allegations.

Derulo took to social media to post a response video addressing the allegations of sexual harassment as well as the lawsuit brought forth by Gibson.

As you can see in the video, Derulo denies the claims, stating that they are “completely false” and “hurtful.” He also claims that he stands “against all forms of harassment” and he also remains supportive of anyone “following their dreams.” He states that he sits here- before his audience- “deeply affected by these defamatory claims.”
