Jodie Turner-Smith has filed for divorce from husband Joshua Jackson after four years of marriage.
After a wedding in 2019 and one three-year-old child later, Jodie Turner-Smith had filed for divorce.
But why?

Turner-Smith and Jackson had not disclosed what caused the split at this time.
However, Page Six confirmed the court documents cited ‘Irreconcilable Differences.’
Additionally, the documents stated that Turner-Smith had requested 50-50 custody of their three-year-old.
Also, despite having a prenuptial agreement, Turner-Smith had requested that “spousal support” be removed.
How did Joshua Jackson meet Jodie Turner-Smith?
First meeting in 2018 and dubbing it “meet-cute”, a one-night stand became a whirlwind romance.
“When I first met my husband, it was kind of — we had a one-night stand,” Turner-Smith told Late Night.

The actress added, ““First of all, I saw him before he saw me, and when I saw him, I was like, ‘I want that.”

But her words about meeting Jackson seem to echo some people’s thoughts on their relationship.
While being respectful to the couple during these tough times, some are of the belief that Turner-Smith had been more invested in the relationship than Jackson had been.
However, Jackson showed he doted on his wife and even valued her with a heartfelt birthday wish tribute in September.
“Happy Birthday my beautiful wife,” he wrote.
“This last year has been the happiest whirlwind of my life. I can’t wait to see what all the years to come bring our way. Love, Josh.”
