Justin Timberlake New Album Selfish

International superstar Justin Timberlake sent the internet abuzz yesterday,  partnering with Spotify to release the tracklist of his latest album, “Everything I Thought It Was.” The album, coming out on March 3rd ahead of his world tour, is Timberlake’s first in six years.

Spotify posted on their social media a billboard they’d erected with the full track listing of the album. The tracklist is 18 songs long and includes hit singles “Selfish” and “Drown.”

“Countdown to March 15 on Spotify,” the caption read. Timberlake is also taking the opportunity to post on his own Instagram page sneak peeks of tracks and behind-the-scenes looks at preparing the album’s vinyl.

The track listing will be released a little over one month before the start of Justin’s “The Forget the World” world tour. The world tour begins on April 29 in Vancouver.

Speaking to Kelly Clarkson and Graham Norton recently, Timberlake shared that he wrote over 100 songs for the album, eventually narrowing it down to 18. Justin explained that, after playing the songs to friends and family, they told him it seemed like an amalgamation of his own life.

“I don’t think I’ve ever taken the time to reflect and look at my life and say ‘wow, this is really cool,’” Timberlake told Graham Norton.

The album’s meaning, according to Timberlake, is about one realizing they’ve arrived at the place they were meant to be in life, “you feel peace,”
