Kevin Costner supposedly wants revenge on his estranged wife, Christine Baumgartner, amid divorce.

According to an insider who opened up to DailyMail, Kevin Costner allegedly wants to make “Christine’s life a living hell” because of their divorce. The allegations against the actor were posted on July 12, two months after Christine filed for divorce.

“He wants to humiliate her. This isn’t about the house, it’s about making Christine’s life a living hell for actually going through with the divorce.” the source claimed. “Christine said she wouldn’t be surprised if Kevin had her escorted off the property by police. It was Christine who wanted to make this transition as peaceful as possible for the sake of the children.” the insider alleged. “Kevin has done the complete opposite. He’s not thinking about the kids, about how traumatizing this is.” the person continued, according to DailyMail.

On May 18, Christine Baumgartner filed for divorce due to “irreconcilable differences,” PageSix notes here. Christine is expected to move out of their family home on July 31. According to the same DailyMail article, Baumgartner said that Costner wants “to precipitously kick her and the children out of the family home.” However, Costner agreed to give Christine $30,000 a month to rent a new home.

The source who opened up to the outlet claimed that “Kevin knows that finding a suitable place to rent in the Padaro Lane community is going to cost much more than what he was originally offering Christine. He could have made this easy. He could have offered an amount that made it viable to continue living in the community, but he’s opted to punish her.”
