Meghan Trainor, a GRAMMY® Award-winning global sensation, is proving she epitomizes the word “mother” in more ways than one with her new single and accompanying video, both of which are available right now via Epic Records. The song can be found on her widely popular album Takin’ It Back’s brand-new Deluxe Edition.

Meghan is bringing us one of her most recognizable music videos yet with “Mother,” following the success of the international multi-platinum selling “Made You Look.” In addition to throwing up pure Hollywood glitz, Meghan also got mother-of-all-mothers Kris Jenner to appear in the clip, which was made in association with longtime partner Charm LaDonna.

The two look radiant as they sing and dance to the doo-wop-influenced song, which includes a clip of The Chordettes’ 1954 classic, “Mr. Sandman.” The release of “Mother” and the deluxe album shortly after Meghan revealed she was expecting her second child shows that she is still dedicated to feeding her fans, despite being a mother who is busier than ever.

After the song was released, Meghan reveals,  “I’m beyond excited to finally share ‘Mother’ with the world! This song is my response to being in the industry for almost a decade now and still finding myself in situations where I am talked down to or made to feel like my opinion isn’t valid. It’s for anyone who is in a situation where they feel like they are being mansplained to and want to take their power back.”

The Takin’ It Back Deluxe Edition also includes a remix of Meghan’s top-charting single “Made You Look,” which features Kim Petras, as well as two more new songs, “Grow Up” and “Special Delivery,” which both include MAX.

Her first #1 on the chart since 2016 is the mega single “Made You Look,” which recently secured the top spot on the Hot AC. It has produced more than half a billion streams so far and counting.
