Lady Gaga is playing Harley Quinn in the ‘Joker’ Sequel, Joker: Folie à Deux. What does the singer look like as the character? HOLR is breaking down the details.

According to PEOPLE, Lady Gaga was seen filming scenes for the movie Joker: Folie à Deux as Harley Quinn in New York City.

The singer wore a classic Harley Quinn outfit: a black and white shirt, red jacket, and a short black skirt. The Harley Quinn look was completed with red lipstick and a classic clown-like make-up look.

The singer, 36, was filming a scene in which her character was “being escorted into the New York County Courthouse”, as TheDirect mentions here.

Joker: Folie à Deux, Joker sequel

In 2022, The Hollywood Reporter announced that Lady Gaga would play the character of Harley Quinn in Joker sequel, Joker: Folie à Deux. 

The role of Harley Quinn has previously been played by Margot Robbie which was happy to hear Lady Gaga would bring her own version of the character to life. “It makes me so happy because I said from the very beginning, all I want is for Harley Quinn to be one of those characters, the way Macbeth or Batman always gets passed from great actor to great actor,” Margot said in 2022. “It’s such an honor to have built a foundation strong enough that Harley can now be one of those characters who other actors get to have a go at playing. And I think she’ll do something incredible with it.” she continued, as mentioned here.

Joker: Folie à Deux will be released on October 4, 2024.
