As noted on Page Six, the “Like a Virgin” singer has posted an Instagram photo of herself cheering for boxer Josh Popper at a boxing match in New York City. Not long afterward, she shared yet another photo with her fans. The new photo, in which Madonna kissed the boxing athlete, was captioned “killers who are partying”. The photo was shared on a Jewish holiday, Purim. The holiday is a commemoration of the time Jewish people were saved from Persian empire persecution. In celebration of the holiday, Madonna dressed up as the religious heroine Queen Esther.

Josh Popper and Madonna both wore all black in that photo of them kissing. The two had been spotted together on several occasions before, for example when Madonna was seen with him at a gym, Bredwinners, in NYC. Before starting her new romance with Josh Popper, Madonna has been in numerous relationships with other men, including her backup dancer Ahlamalik Williams, with whom she broke up in April 2022.

Madonna Relationship History

Madonna and Josh Popper supposedly were introduced to each other when Popper started coaching Madonna’s son David Banda, The US Sun reported.

Before the two met, Madonna was dating model and skateboarder Andrew Darnell. The model was 41 years younger than Madonna, although the singer did not seem to mind the age gap too much. As an insider put it, Madonna “has never really let age affect her decision on who to date and who not to date.” 23-year-old Darnell ended his relationship with Madonna in February after roughly five months of dating her.
