Beacon 23 stars Stephan James and Lena Headey.

Right after the last episode of Beacon 23 streamed on 17 December, MGM+ renewed the series for its 2nd season. The series stars Lena Headey, Stephan James, Natasha Mumba, Marnie McPhail and Daniel Malik. The first two episodes were premiered on November 12, 2023.

“The creative team behind Beacon 23 has masterfully brought Hugh Howey’s best-selling book to life, and we’re excited for fans to continue this journey into Beacon 23’s universe of suspense, emotion and unforeseen twists,” said Michael Wright, head of MGM+.

“Beacon 23’s season two ups the game: more action, more mysteries, more twists and exciting new characters. It’s a thrill ride. I can’t wait for the audience to see it,” said Glen Mazzara, the co-showrunner and executive producer for season 2.

It was created by Zak Penn. Produced by Boat Rocker. Glen Mazzara, Joy Blake, Zak Penn, David Fortier, Ivan Schneeberg, James Middleton, Nick Nantell, Katie O’Connell Marsh, Liz Varner, and Stephan James serve as the executive producers.
