MTV Names Lauren “Lolo” Wood As New Co-Host On Ridiculousness

July 13th, 2024 – The popular MTV reality show Ridiculousness recently named Lauren “Lolo” Wood as the new co-hostess for the show.

Chanel West Coast Replacement 

Lauren Wood was hired on Ridiculousness to replace longtime co-hostess Chanel Dudley (Chanel West Coast). Although Lauren is new in this position on the show, she is no stranger to the channel. She has been featured on a few shows on the channel, most notably guest appearances on Ridiculousness and being part of the cast of Nick Cannon’s show “Wild N Out.”

Chanel has been on MTV since the early 2000s. Ridiculousness host Rob Dyrdek introduced her on his show Fantasy Factory, which ran from 2009 to 2015. She was hired as a receptionist by Dyrdek before being convinced to appear on camera as part of the show’s regular cast.

As Fantasy Factoryendedd, Dudley (West Coast) and Dyrdek decided to continue their journey on MTV, introducing Ridiculousness to their established audience. Dyrdek and Dudley added Sterling (“Steelo”) Brim to the show, and they established the popular comedy clip show that is now one of the most popular programs on the channel.

As Chanel announced her exit from the show, Ridiculousness fans questioned her next career endeavor. West Coast recently announced that MTV offered her a position to have her own show that follows her life.

The show, “The West Coast Hustle,” will follow the lives of Chanel, her boyfriend, Dom Fenison, and their daughter, Bowie Breeze.

The show will premiere on July 18th of this year.
