January 9, 2025 – Wildfires continue to devastate Los Angeles, and celebrities turn to Instagram to respond to this national crisis.
Multiple fires have broken out across Los Angeles over the past week, ravaging acres of land and forcing 130,000 residents to flee the area according to The Independent.
The fires began in the Pacific Palisades but have since spread to other areas including Eaton and Hurst. More than 7,500 firefighting personnel have been deployed to fight the flames wreaking havoc in California.

CNN reports that the Palisades Fire has become the most destructive wildfire in L.A. history. It has destroyed over 1,000 structures, has blazed through more than 17,000 acres of land, and has yet to be contained.
