Is Ian Somerhalder having a second child?

The vampire couple Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder welcome their second child. Nikki Reed births a baby boy “a few weeks ago.” as she shares the news of their newborn on her Instagram story Thursday.

“A few weeks ago we welcomed our son on what can only be described as one of the most beautiful days of my life.” Reed explains that she had a home birth, “Born at home in water and surrounded by so much love, in an instant, my heart doubled in size.” In the story is a glimpse of Reed’s smile while her baby wraps his hands around her finger. The Twilight alumni also mentions that she has “strong boundaries with social media” and further thanks everyone for allowing her to have those boundaries and sending love and positivity to everyone. Reed finishes the Instagram story by thanking the doctors and midwives involved in birthing her new baby boy.

How many children does Ian Somerhalder have?

Reed and Somerhalder had their first baby on July 27th, 2017. Reed birthed a girl, Bodhi Soleil Reed Somerhalder. The couple announced in January of Reed’s baby bump. The two like to keep their family life on the down low but this news was “too good not to share.” As Reed and Somerhalder were waiting for their second child, Somerhalder also couldn’t keep his mouth shut. The Vampire Diaries alumni said on social media, “All I’ve ever wanted from the time I was a young boy was to have a big family,” capturing a photo of her belly. “Thank you Nik for giving me that gift. ROUND TWO HERE WE GO!!!!!”
