Tom Ford is famed for his own personal style just as much as he his for eponymous luxury label.

The edgy and highly desired brand encompasses sexy-sleek cutting edge designs for both women and men. Debuting his latest womenswear fall collection at the Park Avenue Armory, Ford hyped-up the runway with his multi-faceted looks that served us animal print, sequins and lamé leggings for a show that took us back to the 80s in the form of oversized jackets, power suits and faux leather headbands.

In a controversial move, Tom Ford put women empowerment centre stage at the show with a head-turning statement bag and kitten heel – as an ode to the #MeToo movement – that had the words “pussy power” embellished on them. Remaining effortlessly current, Tom Ford also made a conscious effort to create vegan-friendly pieces by incorporating faux-fur- moving toward a more ethical future in fashion.

Here are five fierce looks from the collection that are a must see:

All eyes were on Kaia Gerber who sported a thick headband, pendant earrings and zebra- print leggings paired with an oversized coat tying the look together.

Leopard-print sequins coupled with a daring two-piece power suit embodies the distinct flawless tailoring that is Tom Ford.

Head-to-toe animal print was a recurring trend on the runway seen from pant suit to mini dress.

This patchwork and oversized fur/sequin bomber doesn’t need much of anything to bring it to life, hence the all black pairing.
