Microsoft founder Paul Allen’s 250ft boat has toppled over in Edinburgh, Scotland due to strong winds. The 250ft boat is a research vessel owned by the billionaire and it is believed that as many as 10 people have been injured and 2 are missing as reported by The Sun.

Emergency services including the police, fire service, and ambulances rushed to the scene, and members of the public were asked to avoid the area to allow access for emergency responders.

The incident has sparked concern among the public, and Edinburgh City council leader Cammy Day fears that up to a dozen people may have been injured to some extent. He believes that around 50 people were on board at the time of the incident. Leith councillor Adam McVey described the incident as ‘terrifying’ for those on board and tweeted his thoughts to those who were injured.
