Written and directed by Academy Award winner, Alfonso Cuarón’s, ROMA, takes us on a captivating visual and emotional journey. The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 12th, but it will be available on Netflix December 14th.

The film is set in the neighborhood of Roma in Mexico City during the 1970’s. At the core of the film is the character Cleo, portrayed by actress Yalitza Aparicio. Throughout the film, Curaón draws inspiration from his own childhood to explore the social hierarchy and domestic strife experienced during that period of political turmoil in Mexico City. While the storyline is moving, the stunning cinematography transfixes you and transports you to another land.
