According to the TikTok video, a new blind item claims that Mendes is looking to make a musical comeback – however- his team has reportedly been pressuring him to make it “official” with Carpenter. Supposedly, Carpenter has had multiple albums but none have reached the top 10. Allegedly, the blind item claims that if the duo makes their relationship official, they can both benefit- for instance, Mendes can get his big comeback and Carpenter can get her first #1.

Allegedly Mendes isn’t “into” Carpenter, in which rumors have long alleged that he is part of the LGBTQ community. The pair have been spotted together at recent events, fueling buzz, but neither have seemingly made this “relationship” official. The blind item also claims that Camilla Cabello will somehow be part of this narrative. All in all, the blind item is seemingly claiming that the pair are just in a “PR” relationship.

So, are they or aren’t they? There is no concrete evidence to support claims that the pair are in fact together, but there is also no proof that they are not. So far, we have seen them out and about so fans have been wondering if their relationship is real or not.
