What happened to Sunny from WWE?-Tammy Sytch sentenced to 17 years in prison for deadly car crash in Florida

Former WWE Star Tammy Sytch, 50, was sentenced to 17 years in prison for a fatal car crash. The accident claimed the life of a 75-year-old man, Julian LaFrancis Lasseter, at the intersection of U.S. 1 and Granada Boulevard in 2022. Moreover, the sentence includes probation for eight years after she completes her period in prison and 50 hours of community service with her permanently revoked driver’s license. However, Sytch had never pleaded contest to the charges. The incident later broke down to a drunk driving. In addition, at the time of the incident, her blood alcohol content was .280, which is three and a half times the legal limit of .08 set by Florida law.
The sentencing was delivered soon after 3 p.m. According to a video posted by @DavidPotterMMA on X, the former wrestling star and manager Sytch, widely known by Sunny, her ring name, now appeared in the court, wearing the customary orange jail jumpsuit. It hardly recognizes her because of her changing appearance, which is quite far from before. The judgement lasted for several hours in a Volusia County courtroom.

Some people have already commented on this.

“Wow. Never would have guessed thats how her life would turn out.”

“Alcoholism is an addiction just like any drug, it makes you do compulsive behavior, just hope she gets the help she needs, while she’s in prison, so sad for the family, 🙏🙁

Sytch deeply regrets the fatal car crash. However, this was not the first time behind bars for her

During the trial, she expressed her grief toward the injured 75-year-old man. “I know my words are not enough. But please know I think about you every day, every second of every day.” “I wish I could change places with him,” according to Yahoo! News. She broke down in tears in handcuffs during her speech.

However, this was not the first time she had spent her prison life. She has served time behind bars before. It was 2013; she served in jail for assaulting her boyfriend and violating parole conditions. Furthermore, she had cancer treated in prison during that time. Yet, it was only 114 days in jail, far shorter than 17 years of imprisonment sentenced this time.
