When did Bray Wyatt died?

Bray Wyatt, a star professional wrestler in WWE, has died unexpectedly at the age of 36.

In fact, on August 24, WWE officials made the shock announcement of the death of Windham Rotunda aka Bray Wyatt.

And sadly, Windham Rotunda leaves behind two children and fiancé, former WWE star JoJo.

Following a call from Rotunda’s family, the head of creative, Triple H took to twitter to announce his passing.

“Just received a call from WWE Hall of Famer Mike Rotunda who informed us of the tragic news that our WWE family member for life Windham Rotunda – also known as Bray Wyatt – unexpectedly passed earlier today.”

What caused Bray Wyatt’s death?

Additionally, news outlets revealed Rotunda had been out of action due to an undisclosed illness.

Although Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com alleges that Bray Wyatt battled heart issues brought on by Covid.

However, in a statement by WWE they acknowledged the talent he brought to the company.

“Known for his captivating performances and incredible in-ring presence, Wyatt was a defining superstar of his generation and accomplished many feats in WWE, including becoming WWE Champion in 2017.”

They ended the statement by extending their heartfelt condolences to the Rotunda family.

Stars react to the former champion’s death.

Meanwhile, superstars past and present took to social media to express their shock and sadness over Rotunda’s death.

And among the stars was Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Rhea Ripley, Matt Hardy and the wife of former stable mate Brodie Lee aka Luke Harper.

“Im (sic) heartbroken over the news of Bray Wyatt’s passing. Always had tremendous respect and love for him and the Rotunda family.”

And Matt Hardy expressed his deep sadness for the loss of someone he called a friend.

Also, Amanda Huber, wife of former star Brodie Lee better known as Luke Harper who died in 2020 from a Lung illness said she was “devastated.”

Truly a sad day for sports entertainment, RIP Bray Wyatt.
