On Monday, TMZ confirmed that Taylor Swift and Matty Healy have officially broken up. An insider familiar with the situation confirmed the rumors to the outlet by mentioning that Taylor Swift is once again “single.”
The split seems to be due to their busy schedules and lack of compatibility. “Taylor and Matty broke up. They are both extremely busy and realized they’re not really compatible with each other,” a source told ET. “Taylor’s friends want what’s best for her and aren’t shocked that their relationship fizzled out since she recently got out of a long-term relationship.” the insider added.

A few days ago, rumors about a potential split appeared after Matty Healy kissed a male safeguard at one of his band’s concerts in Denmark. Before that moment, Matty Healy confessed he had stopped kissing strangers during concerts out of respect for Taylor.

Amid the romance speculations, Taylor Swift opened up about her private life during one of her concerts. “I’ve just never been this happy in my life in all aspects of my life ever.” she told the crowd.
