On Sunday, September 15th, television’s top talents gathered at Los Angeles’ LA Live Peacock Theatre to celebrate TV’s various accolades.
“The Bear,” known for its realism and the star-studded cast, took home a total of 11 Emmy’s and breaking its own record of 10 comedy wins for a single season.
The show’s wins included Jeremy Allen White winning Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series and Ebon Moss-Bachrach winning Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.
Most notably, Liza Colón-Zayas became the first Latina to win Best Supporting Actress in a comedy series Emmy.
Colón-Zayas admitted in her acceptance speech that her husband told her to write an acceptance speech because she didn’t think it would be possible to win.

“Thank you to the Academy, and my fellow nominees,” White began.
“This show has changed my life. It has instilled a faith that change is possible if you are able to reach out. You are never, truly, alone. My beautiful cast, I love you forever. I love to work with you, and I want us to be in each other’s lives forever,” White said.
“My parents, I love you. Anne, my sister, you’re here. I love you so much. Thank you for coming with me tonight. I love you so much, you are my heart. Thank you everybody,” White continued.
