The Netflix original series “The Watcher” impersonates the true story of a family who bought their dream home and later began getting terrorized with threatening letters by an anonymous person called “the watcher.” In the show, the “Brannock family” played the real family that were victims of  “the watcher.” Although the series wasn’t filmed on the real 657 Boulevard, the filming house was in Rye, New York. Of course, the house is grand and beautiful, but during your stop at either the filming location or the real one, you will have a hard time fathoming how its beauty justifies someone having such a strong obsession with the house. An obsession so strong that they feel the need to steer everyone away from the house, what is it about 657 Boulevard? This is the viewers’ biggest question! See the house firsthand and maybe you will catch the watcher, as whoever that may be is allegedly still out there.

Before the Brannocks moved to what they thought was the perfect home to then having their dream shattered by the watcher, they lived their lives in the Manhattan area of New York City. When making the decision to move back to Manhattan and in doing so, fulfilling the wish of the watcher,  Dean was very disappointed and before entering his old New York City apartment, we can see him being displeased as he reminisces about the life he could have had if it wasn’t for the watcher. It is clear that Dean is fighting with himself every day due to the fact that he let the watcher win.

Nora makes her new debut at the gallery and it is a hit! She seems to have moved on faster than Dean with the loss of their house. With their contrasting mindsets about the situation, their relationship meets more conflict than usual.
