Timothee Chalamet performed, hosted and starred in the latest episode of SNL. However, the actor surprisingly treated Bob Dylan fans.

January 29, 2025-As outlined in Pitchfork, the actor is starring in the Bob Dylan bio-pic A Complete Unknown. According to Rolling Stone, the bio-pic follows Dylan and his decision to play electric music at the 1965 Newport Folk Festival. As opposed to the folk songs he started his career with. Therefore, fans were expecting Chalamet to perform some of the Bob Dylan songs in the film. However, what was not expected was for the actor to perform some of Dylan’s more obscure works (here).

According to Rolling Stone, the actor performed “Outlaw Blues,” “Three Angels,” and “Tomorrow Is A Long Time.” According to the publication, “Outlaw Blues” was never sung live but was a feature on Dylan’s first electric studio session during the Bringing It All Back Home sessions. Likewise, “Three Angels” was also never performed live but is on the album New Morning. Lastly, “Tomorrow Is a Long Time” was never on a proper album. However, the singer performed the song during several of his early live shows.

As outlined in Pitchfork, the actor appears in sketches throughout the night and was accompanied by James Blake on the keyboard for his musical performances. However, this is not the first time Chalamet has promoted the film, recreating the music video for “Subterranean Homesick Blues” before the film’s release. In addition, the actor is also currently in the spotlight for his relationship with Kylie Jenner (here).
