Is Vanessa Hudgens dead?

August 19, 2024– According to social media platforms such as TikTok, there is a rumor floating around that Vanessa Hudgens has passed away.

But is this true?

According to this site, Vanessa is actually a victim of an online death hoax, which alleged that the actress died even though she didn’t.

As noted in the article, a death hoax pertaining to the star started spreading on Facebook under the page;  ‘R.I.P. Vanessa Hudgens’ which reportedly amassed almost one million ‘likes’. The page supposedly claimed the following:

“At about 11 a.m. ET on Saturday (August 17, 2024), our beloved actress Vanessa Hudgens passed away. Vanessa Hudgens was born on December 14, 1988 in Salinas. She will be missed but not forgotten. Please show your sympathy and condolences by commenting on and liking this page.”

People reportedly took to the page to comment and share their condolences- however, the passing of the star is fake news and she is very much alive and well.

Apparently, Hudgens’ reps have commented on the alleged news confirming that Hudgens is not dead. “She joins the long list of celebrities who have been victimized by this hoax. She’s still alive and well, stop believing what you see on the Internet,” they claimed.

Hudgens just gave birth to her first child with her husband Cole Tucker, who she married in December 2023 in Tulum, Mexico.

There were previous claims in which Travis Scott was also affected by a similar death hoax.

It is important to verify things you read online as things are not always what they seem. In this case, Hudgens fell victim to an online death hoax- as a result, she is alive and well and her “passing” is fake news.
