According to this recent TikTok video posted by user @jasonnash, Hough explains to Jason Nash how he was an extra in the first Harry Potter movie during an episode of a podcast.

As noted in the TikTok video, Hough was in the very first Harry Potter movie and can be seen in the scene where Hermione (Emma Watson) is going home for Christmas and is coming through the Great Hall. Hough then walks past, and he is dressed in Ravenclaw robes. According to Hugh, a ghost walks through him in the scene and he is holding an owl.

Hough goes on to say that he was on the set for the film for 3 months. Hough remembers it as s “cool” experience in which he got to walk into other sets on the film, such as the forest.
