Each year the Grammys comes and goes and each year celebrities do 1 of 2 things, wear something amazing and shockingly beautiful, or think they are wearing something amazing and shockingly beautiful. 

This year the Grammys had been delayed a few months, but the show finally happened on April 3rd in Las Vegas at MGM Grand, the first time ever that the award show was hosted in Vegas. Hosted by Trevor Noah, and having performances by Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Silk Sonic and Lil Nas X, the show was one of the most enjoyable ones in the last few years. 

As this is the biggest night in music, unlike the biggest night in film, artists attending the Grammys do not have a strict dress policy of black tie, instead many artists wear outfits that have truly been shocking to many. 

Starting off strong Trevor Noah hosted the show and wore a pink double-breasted tux on the red carpet, although that was great, he had many outfit changes throughout the show, including some very tacky tux jackets that to anyone else would have all looked the exact same, and for that, he is on the worst dressed list. 

Justin Bieber performed and was nominated a few times for Peaches, but the Canadian boy showed up in an oversized, oversized grey suit, which we can all agree is probably from his Balenciaga campaign. Recently Bieber’s outfits are very much missing and not at all hitting. 

Olivia Rodrigo, yes she is 17 and yes this is her first Grammy but this isn’t the Oscars, wear something more fun and more age-appropriate, not a black gown with a pink silhouette sequence, it would have been nice to see her in a more rockstar type outfit that would match the vibe of her album. 

Dua Lipa and Megan Thee Stallion showed up on stage wearing the same outfit, and yes Donatella Versace came on stage and ‘fixed’ them, but even after the much-needed changes, the outfits did not look very good, in fact, they did not look expensive either, but with the classic Versace name attached I’m sure, they paid a pretty penny. 

Billie Eilish is never on the worst dressed list because she knows where her limit is and when people will start thinking her fashion sense is ugly. Bringing back her older style Billie wore all black, a half shorts half dress look with a very oversized black blazer. The new black hairstyle for Billie really transitions what colour clothes she will end up wearing and she pulls it off. 

Lenny Kravitz, this man knows how to dress. Preforming with H.E.R, Lenny walked the red carpet with a chained see-through tank top, and of course classic rock star shades and all leather pants and boots. Although his look during his performance deserves to be the worst dressed look, his red carpet look is all best dressed. 

Doja Cat may have been on the worst dressed list last year, but girl this year she’s on the best dressed, and she won her first Grammy. In a triangle cut, strappy, silhouette blush pink gown with a hip-high slit, Doja truly looked beautiful. The singer ran from the bathroom to the stage as she won her award and still kept everything together in the skin-tight dress.
