For her most special day, Lily chose a lace Ralph Lauren wedding gown overlaid with a matching hoodie cape as a veil. It was a true fairytale wedding in a magic scenario with the most perfect couple ever. We are just in love!

After being proposed to in September last year during a couple’s road trip around New Mexico, the cute couple Lily Collins and Charlie McDowell finally tied the knot in the most magical wedding ceremony. The lovebirds had been dating since 2019 and decided to celebrate their love in an intimate nuptials that took place in Dunton Hot Springs on September 4th. This majestic venue located in Colorado is a charming rustic resort amidst nature that yielded the lucky couple the most amazing photos captured by Cedar & Pines. With twelve luxury log cabins and a bathhouse fed by natural warm water, this wooden paradise was chosen for the matrimony organized by wedding planner Elsa Jagniecki, a.k.a. Heirlooms Design, a company specialized in bespoke events. It had the perfect vintage, country-chic vibe, with floral arrangements by Linnaea Design, cottagecore decorations, at the sound of Birds of Play, a bluegrass quartet. Surrounded by trees, an amazing forest, rivers, cascading waterfalls, San Juan mountain peaks, and a gorgeous landscape, bride and groom got married in front of their parents and closest friends in a private, small-scale, enchanted fairytale-worthy reunion.

Now, let’s talk fashion. The Emily in Paris actress chose a long-sleeved, A-line, embroidered lace gown accompanied by a matching white hooded veil. Collins was one of the few Ralph Lauren brides: the fashion house does not regularly design wedding dresses but they went an extra mile for Lily’s wedding. Her angelic custom dress took over 200 hours of very meticulous hand craftsmanship work. The turtleneck gown was constructed using French Calais-Caudry lace weave, crafted on the Leavers loom, a weaving technique from the 19th Century that produces the finest, most delicate patterned cotton lace. Collins’ unique hooded long cape was covered in intricate silk organza petals and embroidered Swarovski-beaded flowers. Lily wore Irene Neuwirth jewelry styled by Rob Zangardi and her clean beauty was signed by makeup artist Fiona Stiles, and hairstylist Gregory Russell, who put the bride’s hair in a middle-parted, sleek, low bun adorned with a tiny braid.

About her gorgeous dress, the Hollywood star thanked Ralph Lauren with a post on her Instagram page saying “It’s my ultimate dream combination of Western Americana and British Victorian, […] every detail was perfect”. Lily added, “It’s the most beautiful, memorable gown I will ever wear and I couldn’t have imagined it any other way”. The groom wore a Purple Label collection tuxedo in velvet fabric also designed by Ralph Lauren.
