2. Surfer moons Olympics 

Olympic surfer Tim Elter has a bit of a wardrobe malfunction in a now viral video. The surfers swim trunks slid down, exposing his bare butt for the world to see. Tim had a hilarious response to the surfing mooning incident saying “when the waves don’t deliver, then my ass does.” Read more about this incident here.

3. Pole Vault Bulge Leads To Loss 

21 year old French Pole Vaulter Anthony Ammirati probably wasn’t anticipating going viral for his pole vault performance in the way that he did. The French pole vaulters package got in the way of his road to an Olympic medal. Anthony Ammirati was attempting to vault over his target height in the qualifying round when his bulge got in the way and knocked down the bar.


 

4. Olympic Diver Package 

Speaking of packages, we’re not sure what’s in the water in France but French diver Jules Bouyer also caught the attention of many online with his package. The diver seemed to be struggling a bit to keep his bulge in his speedos during his time diving. Tik Tok quickly caught wind of this and it has also gone viral. 

5. Muffin Man Olympics Video

Norwegian Swimmer Henrik Christiansen may not have won an Olympic medal yet, but he has won the hearts of many online. The olympic swimmer has a profound love of muffins and has been documenting this love during his Olympic journey. One of his muffin man viral videos has garnered more than 10.4 million views. It has led to fans everywhere labeling Henrik Christiansen the ‘Muffin Man’.

6. Turkish Shooter With No Gear 

Turkish shooter Yusuf Dikec took the Internet by storm as he won a silver medal in the shooting competition. While his fellow competitors were decked out in special shooting gear to help with precision, Yusuf raw dogged the competition. It seems that everyone on the internet is in agreement that Yusuf Dikec is a boss. Yusuf commented on the ‘Turkish Shooter memes’ going viral online and said he doesn’t need equipment because he is a natural born shooter. That led many to google ‘Turkish Shooter hitman’. While we don’t believe the he was a hitman I guess one can only speculate.

7. Olympic Sleeping In park

Another viral moment brought to you by Thomas Ceccon is a photo of him sleeping in a park instead of in his Olympic village room. The Italian swimmer heartthrob has complained about the food and the lack of Air Conditioning in the Olympic village. Ceccon has since commented on the viral photo. In an interview he says that everyone was sending him the photo but that he just went to nap for an hour and connect with nature. 

8. Olympic Spanish Rugby Team

This one isn’t so much about one specific video but rather the entire Spanish Rugby Team Tik Tok account. The Rugby players have attracted a slew of new followers, since posting videos of the guys dancing, training and playing. Just a warning, once you start looking through it, it can certainly suck you in.

9. USA Volleyball Player Matt Anderson  

A video of US Volleyball Player Matt Anderson foam rolling before a match gained popularity quickly online. At 37 years old, Matt is considered one of the veterans in the sport but that didn’t stop him from gaining new admirers. Some fans on Tik Tok have likened Matt Anderson to Henry Cavill.

10. French Swimmer Florent Manadou 

Last but certainly not least is French Olympic swimmer Florent Manadou. He doesn’t have a viral moment per se but he is the moment. Fans online have been swooning over Florent’s physique, demeanour, handsome looks and of course the dimples.
