The series was created by Ryan Murphy for Netflix and stars Ewan McGregor. It is inspired by the famous American fashion designer Roy Halston Frowick, who was one of the main figures of fashion and style in the 70s. The series tells the story about how Halston built his empire, and it became a word used to refer to luxury, status, fame and sex, but then gets threatened by a takeover bid.
