Ever since 2022, Sweeney, 27, has been engaged to filmmaker Jonathan Davino, 41. However, a recent surge of rumors that the couple has broken up is making the rounds.

An inside source told Us Weekly that “there is nothing going on romantically between Glen and Sydney. They are just friends.”
Apparently, Sweeney had been invited to Powell’s sister Leslie’s wedding, which occurred on March 29, in Dallas, Texas. Apparently, the two women have “been close friends for a long time.”
The inside source told Us Weekly that Sweeney had “RSVP’d months ago,” bringing “one of her girlfriends to the wedding as a guest.”
Fans had speculated about Sweeney and Powell’s involvement before, when Anyone But You photos revealed how close the two actors were. But both Sweeney and Powell denied these rumors.
