Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s lawsuit over French winery Château Miraval remains ongoing.

Recently, Pitt was accused of “looting” and “stripping” Château Miraval’s assets by Angelina’s former investment company Nouvel, CNN notes. “Pitt wasted the company’s assets, spending millions on vanity projects, including more than $1 million on swimming pool renovations, building and rebuilding a staircase four times, and spending millions to restore a recording studio,” an official document issued by Nouvel reads.

According to the same source, things worsened after Jolie sold Nouvel to Stoli Group. “Incensed that Jolie sold Nouvel to Stoli rather than him, Pitt has acted like a petulant child, refusing to treat Nouvel as an equal partner in the business,” it was added.

Following the accusations, an insider addressed the situation to Us Weekly. “It’s public knowledge that Brad has poured millions more into this business, building it from the ground up over the last decade,” the source said, adding that the accusations are “absurd.”

As the dispute worsened, people wondered whether it affected Brad Pitt’s romantic relationship with Ines De Ramon. According to a source, her feelings for Brad have not been altered amid the drama with his ex-wife.
