Euphoria Star Chloe Cherry Has Been Caught Stealing And Charged With Retail Theft

Chloe Cherry, well known as ‘Faye’ from Euphoria has found herself in a sticky situation when all eyes are on her for stealing in her hometown. Cherry has alleged charges of Retail Theft since the incident occurred in December.

According to TMZ, Cherry entered the Building Character shopping store in Lancaster, Pennsylvania on December 27. She then picked up a blouse and brought it into the dressing room. When leaving the dressing room, she held onto the blouse and attempted to leave without paying.

Relaying sources of TMZ, Cherry intended to pay for other items with a credit card but was then accused of stealing the blouse ($28).

Once police arrived at the scene, officers say Chloe admitted to taking the blouse and handed it over to the officers. Lancaster Online obtains the legal document of this case.

According to Lancaster Online, the mall employee working the night of the incident showed law enforcement the store footage of the star in the act. The store owner, Marty Huse, says

“Most times, when we find people who are shoplifting, we don’t find them in the act” Huse goes on to say,  “They’ll take the tag off of it and throw it somewhere. Then we see the tag, and we can find them on the camera and where it came from, and that’s exactly what happened.”

In January, the actress was charged with misdemeanour retail theft.

Chloe Cherry Reps Speak Out

Since then, Cherrys’ rep has reached out to news outlets to set record straight. After reaching out to TMZ, reps say,  “In December, there was confusion over a blouse that wasn’t properly charged to my client’s credit card. In no way did she ‘admit’ to taking the blouse, since that was not the case. This story seems to be more about a local store trading on a celebrity’s name more than anything else.”
