On June 4, Chrissy Teigen opened up on Instagram about a DNA test she has recently taken and its results. According to her statements, Teigen supposedly had an identical twin.

In the video, Chrissy explained that her first reaction was to laugh at the test’s results, and then she checked the information with her family.
“I paid for some of the upgrades and the first thing that came up after I found out that I was part neanderthal, was this: Identical twin,”, she said.
Then, Teigen talked about the confusion the situation created. “Honestly at this point I’m spiraling. I call my dad and I literally say, ‘Dad, hey, did you see me come out of mom’s vagina and were there two of me?’ He starts laughing, saying ‘No, I was there, there are not two of you!’ I was like, ‘Are you sure you were there?'”Even though her father reassured her there was no twin when she was born, Chrissy went on and discussed the situation with her sister. “So I call my sister, and I say ‘hey, whats up,” she laughs, “‘do I have an identical twin?'” she added.
However, Teigen could find an explanation for the results she mentioned in the clip. According to E! News, she had previously submitted a DNA test under a fake name, and the new results matched her previous ones. “My identical twin was myself. I was matching myself.” she concluded.
Chrissy then posted an Instagram story of a drawing that read, “Sissy Teigen, Sister, Aunt & Friend, June 4, 2023 2:04 pm – June 4, 2023 3:05 pm”, E! News adds.
