According to this TikTok video posted by user @corabrei Demi’s performance was seemingly controversial because it involved singing about a heart attack at an event filled with heart attack survivors, in which some deemed to “tone deaf.” The TikToker questions why Demi’s team did not flag this before her performance. However, the TikToker also notes that this could be a specific performance to raise awareness for the event.
