On Sunday, representatives of Chance Perdomo announced the sad news of his passing. He was 27 years old.

“it is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Chance Perdomo’s untimely passing as the result of a motorcycle accident,” the statement read in part.

Who was Chance Perdomo Movies and TV Shows

Born in Los Angeles and raised in the UK, Perdomo was known for his roles as Andre Anderson in Gen V, Landon in After We Fell, and most notably as Ambrose in Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.

After being involved in the UK’s National Youth Theatre, Perdomo studied acting over law at the Identity School of Acting. Notable alumni include Regé-Jean Page and John Boyega.

Since the news of the star’s death broke, tributes from around the world have pored in, including from Perdomo’s former colleagues.

The producers of Gen V said in a statement they “can’t quite wrap our heads around” Perdomo’s death. They described Perdomo as “charming,” and that “writing about him in the past tense doesn’t make sense,”

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa described the loss as “heartbreaking and staggering,”

Further details of Perdomo’s death haven’t been released.
